Duties and Responsibilities:

7. Scheduling two office hours. For extenuating circumstances in which office hours cannot be scheduled, the adjunct faculty member must submit a written plan to the Dean describing how students can access the instructor. Office hours are not paid during the summer session.
Required Qualifications:&nbsp; Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university in healthcare administration or related field with at least 18 graduate hours in healthcare management, healthcare administration, or healthcare policy.

GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; The part-time Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor is responsible for teaching and supervision of nursing students in on-campus classroom/lab settings and at off-campus clinical sites; evaluating and advising students; maintaining records and completing reports; participating in the development of the program, and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Health Careers. This part-time position will average 18-28 hours (3-4 days) per week Monday through Friday and is not eligible for benefits. Scheduled hours will be for in-person classroom and skills lab teaching and student supervision at clinical sites. Clinical hours may vary based on the needs of each site. This is not a remote teaching position.
SALARY:&nbsp; $32.00 per hour. Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology -- Dickson guidelines.

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Surgical Technology. This position will support instruction in Nashville high schools and on the Nashville State White Bridge campus.

Minimum of two (2) years work experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Teaching experience in an accredited respiratory care program or extensive experience in clinical practice.

Position Summary: Do you have a passion for sharing your expertise, craft or hobby with others? Pellissippi State’s noncredit lifelong learning program offers personal enrichment classes for the community with a wide range of topics, including: fitness, languages, musical instruments, arts and crafts, wellness, history, and more. Class participants are community members ages 18+. Some of the many benefits of teaching a lifelong learning class include working with engaged and enthusiastic adult learners and flexible class scheduling.
 Our noncredit class schedule is released twice a year: spring/summer and fall. Classes can be as short as 90 minutes or up to 20 hours in length. Instructors are expected to have a high level of expertise in the subject of their proposed class, and some experience in teaching or training others. <li>Maintain a solid understanding of College goals and priorities as they relate to the students’ experience</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development activities to ensure active and engaged classroom experience for all students</li>
<li>Actively participate in meetings, review and analyze assessment data, compile reports, and meet academic and administrative deadlines</li>
<li>Ensure campus compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory bodies’ guidelines, along with internal policies of the College</li>

<li>Recognize that students have diverse learning styles and needs. Apply established instructional strategies to support differentiated learning and ensure all students can actively engage with course concepts and activities.</li>

<li>Introduce students to a variety of academic resources—such as tutoring, educational apps, study groups, and online tools—and encourage them to explore new strategies that support their growth as lifelong learners.</li>
<li>Monitor student progress to promote student success</li>
<li>Provide counseling resources as needed</li>

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field, or an Associate’s degree in a qualifying field with certifications, or an Associate’s degree in a qualifying field and 2 years applicable work experience, or nationally recognized certification within subject matter.&nbsp; Qualifying fields include but are not limited to Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Technology. &nbsp;
Special requirements and conditions
<ul>
<li>Flexible schedule and some travel required; must have a valid vehicle operator’s license.</li>
<li>Work with dual-enrollment high school students (background check will be required).</li>
