<h2>Victim/Witness Advocate - I</h2>Recruitment #2024-12850-01The Placer County District Attorney’s Office is seeking to fill multiple Victim Advocate positions within the Victim Services Unit. Victim Advocates provide support to victims of crime throughout the criminal justice process. This includes in-person meetings, telephone and email communication, providing connections to outside resources and attending court proceedings. Victim Advocates are expected to familiarize themselves with the criminal justice system in Placer County so they can assist and explain that process to victims as their case moves through the court system. The laboratory technician will spend most of their time doing three main activities that include equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance; inventory checks and stocking of consumables; slide specimen management such as archiving, tracking, and storing.REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Minimum of an associate degree or nearing the completion of the enrolled program</li><li>At least 6 months (1 year preferred) of laboratory experience with proficiency in laboratory organization and inventory management of samples, reagents &amp; and materials.</li><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</li></ul>*Please see the attached job description for additional roles, responsibilities, and requirements.SCHEDULE<ul><li>The role may require flexible shift starts to meet operational demands.
