Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Production Technician II in our Large Products Department. &nbsp;This position is responsible for the production of parts meeting print and specification requirements. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Production of parts meeting drawing and specification requirements.</li><li>Set-up and operation of equipment, as assigned.</li><li>Perform statistical process control measurements and calculations.&nbsp; Complete forms or computer entries as required.</li><li>Order and maintain inventory levels of required tooling, gages and supplies.</li><li>Participate in assuring team tooling and material readiness.&nbsp; (Assemble tooling set-up kits, stage raw materials and perform external setup tasks, as required)</li><li>Participate in setting and achieving team and individual productivity and quality targets.</li><li>Participate with team in continuous improvement efforts.</li><li>Perform machine inspections including daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasks.</li><li>Perform shop floor housekeeping duties.</li><li>Prepare daily production reports and forms.</li><li>Train other operators as required.</li><li>Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.</li><li>Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the Howmet Guide to Business Conduct.</li><li>Demonstrates a knowledge of and commitment to learn manufacturing principles and techniques.</li><li>Performs all work activities in accordance with safety and environmental standards. Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Skills: <ul><li>Ability to set-up and operate multiple equipment types (pin heading, sleeve heading, pin rolling, band annealing, drilling and/or assembly.)&nbsp; Ability to train operators in equipment set-up and operation.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret product blueprints.</li><li>Ability to use inspection gages and instruments.</li><li>Good communications and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. </li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>High school graduate preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience performing moderately complex mechanical work.</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.&nbsp; Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.&nbsp; Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</li></ul> Benefits: The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation. Production Technician II (2nd Shift)

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Materials Technician II (1st Shift) in our Shipping Department.&nbsp; This position is responsible for picking and processing orders to be shipped according to sales orders. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Pick order from appropriate location in warehouse.&nbsp;</li><li>Using highlighted information on pick list, perform other tasks pertaining to the sales order.&nbsp; This may include, lot number, certificate of conformance, material test reports, country of origin, or special labels needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Check order for accuracy; part number, quantity, special instructions, etc for other operators.&nbsp;</li><li>Package items that were picked in a manner that minimizes the potential for damage in transit.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize shipping method software, e.g., UPS, FedEx, etc; to process packages to be shipped.&nbsp;</li><li>For orders to be shipped by truck, use Best Shipper program to determine carrier and complete Bill of Lading</li><li>Load trucks&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.</li><li>Maintains full compliance and conducts all activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as required.</li></ul> Skills: <ul><li>Ability to complete training and become certified to process export shipments is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read, write and accurately perform routine math calculations.</li><li>Ability to interact positively with other individuals to function effectively in a team-based environment.</li><li>Ability to operate basic computer systems and programs.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively</li><li>Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently with little guidance.</li><li>Ability to work in an organized manner to ensure Quality standards are met.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum one year experience in a distribution or manufacturing warehouse environment</li><li>1 year of forklift experience</li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.&nbsp; Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.&nbsp; Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</li><li>This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. &nbsp;ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.</li></ul> Benefits: The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation.
