MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Supervise research assistant/call center study staff</li><li>Maintain caseload of study participants.</li><li>Schedule staff to ensure coverage of study times</li><li>Onboard new staff on the study.</li><li>Track key project statistics and utilize these metrics to make informed decisions regarding the scope of the project.</li><li>Monitor participant retention rate and proactively address drop out concerns as they arise.</li><li>Collect data using a variety of methods.</li><li>Maintain communication between Caron and call center</li><li>Enter data into research databases, such as SPSS, Excel, and REDCAP.</li><li>Complete monthly study progress reports</li><li>Perform quality control checks on 10% of calls and data</li><li>Review data for errors in entry.</li><li>Attend Caron meetings involved with research activities, as needed.</li><li>Use judgment and be self-directed in performance of responsibilities.</li><li>This job may require at minimum 1 weekend a month (not to exceed 2) and some evening work.</li><li>This job description reflects assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Light lifting and bending</li><li>Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Minimum of Master’s degree required.&nbsp; Previous clinical trial experience can substitute for Master’s degree</li><li>Experience in mental health or addiction treatment or research.</li><li>Previous supervisory experience preferred</li><li>Previous call center experience preferred</li><li>Attention to detail in work assignments.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize work.</li><li>Familiarity with Word, Excel, SPSS software programs.</li><li>If in recovery, one year of continuous sobriety is preferred.</li><li>Flexibility to adjust work schedule, including weekend and evening hours, to align with project goals, scheduled appointments, and supervisory responsibilities.</li></ul>COMPETENCE AND MEASUREMENT:<ul><li>Demonstrate ability to gain staff confidence and maintain participants in the study</li><li>Demonstrate attention to detail through a minimum of errors in data entry.</li><li>Demonstrate time-management abilities through timely completion of multiple tasks.</li><li>Demonstrate ability to work independently through decision-making skills and independent completion of tasks in absence of Director of Research.</li><li>Demonstrate initiative in completion of tasks without prior requests and in approaching Director of Research with project ideas and suggestions.</li></ul>
