(VWT) is seeking an Industrial Business Development Manager. This position will promote, expand, maintain and implement all sales aspects of our Actiflo, Multiflo Discfilter, Drumfilter, UF/RO's and Evaled products. The main office is based out of Trevose, PA. Responsibilities for this position will include (but not be limited to): <ul><li>Direct sales and business development responsibility for assigned products to achieve sales goals for booked orders and gross margin. </li><li>Achieve or exceed sales volume of the products through technical sales support of existing products.</li><li>Developing and expanding new business opportunities for the products. </li><li>Qualifying and follow-up of all sales leads. </li><li>Sales calls on engineers, EPCs, and end users.</li><li>Attendance at trade shows as required.</li><li>Coordination and idea generation with the marketing department.</li><li>Detailed interaction with office process and engineering staff.</li><li>Development and writing of proposals with office support staff.</li><li>Development of sales presentations. </li><li>Coordination with the worldwide Veolia network to leverage learnings and global key accounts.</li><li>Lead pricing and T&amp;Cs negotiation on final sales.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts as required</li></ul> Qualifications Qualifications: <ul><li>The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the application and sale of capital equipment/systems and technology in the industrial wastewater treatment industry. </li><li>A Bachelor of Science Degree is required for this position, preferably in an engineering discipline. </li><li>Candidate should possess a high degree of technical competence in wastewater treatment systems along with exceptional communications skills (oral and written). Additionally the candidate needs an intimate understanding of the buying influences and purchasing protocols in the light industrial market. </li><li>Experience in sales of ion exchanger, microfiltration, reverse osmosis, clarifier, DAF, microscreens, evaporators, aerobic and/or anaerobic treatment systems to industrial users is a plus.</li><li>Experience in ingredient water, ultra pure water, boiler makeup water, cooling tower water and intake water treatment applications is a plus. </li><li>Travel will be approximately 20 - 25%.</li></ul> Additional Information We are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
