Preferred Qualifications:

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Dean of Math and Sciences and the Department Head of Science, the full-time faculty member has as their chief duty the instruction of Introduction to Biology 1 and 2 &amp; General Biology 1 and 2 courses. Biology faculty teach classes which are scheduled during the day or evening, taught in a variety of formats (online and on-ground) and at several different locations, including off campus sites and local high schools. The faculty member is expected to facilitate the classroom instructional process, evaluate students, monitor progress, utilize the Learning Management System (LMS), including Faculty Feedback, assign mid-term and final grades, maintain attendance and grade records, counsel and advise students regarding academic preparation and career goals, work to retain students, and maintain required classroom and office hours.
